i missed a day

- i was informed on "the hour" that some dude (dana white) took over UFC in 2001 when it was 44 million dollars in debt

- 44 page views of hit the post from people in finland.

pretty boring day

nothing to speak of. a couple of clocks, that's about it.

update:
sorta bummed i ran across this before midnight, but apparently carrot top is 44 today.

at the hockey game

- with five minutes left in the first period, when columbus had 11 shots on goal, my dad predicted they would have 44 by the end of the game.

- it was alumni night, and colin patterson (who was in attendance), finished his career as a +44.

- stoppage in play at 17:44 of the second period.
